In the history of the erstwhile Mahama administration where Ghana suffered a lot under employment and other issues after the NDC got Ghana involved in the IMF policy, the NPP leveled all blames on the NDC for all the hardships Ghanaians were going through.
Following this, the NPP proved to run Ghana smoothly without any assistance from the International Monetary Fund, IMF since some of their policies during Mahama’s administration sinked the economic system.
In recent times, the New Patriotic Party, NPP has started making noise to run to the IMF since the supposed E-levy move is not able to give government the revenue it needs for the development of the country, thus per some admissions of the party, an IMF bailout may be needed to rescue the economy.
John Dramani Mahama therefore will be a better President if the New Patriotic Party, NPP runs to IMF for a bailout. This is because NPP raised a lot of destructive comments against John Mahama and his administration on their decision for an IMF bailout, and now they are also going to do same.
We can also recall that, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Honorable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong in recent times shared his view that, “If we who are endowed with such unparalleled economic knowledge, decides to finally go to IMF, then I'm sorry to say this but it means John Mahama is a better leader than us”.
