Hawa Koomson after being made the minister for fisheries has sent some bold and very intelligent message to the general public. Hawa Koomson being a woman in the men’s political world overlooks this and delivers just as expected of her at all times. Recently, the Awutu Senya constituency which she happens to head is booming with a lot of energy and fire.
She’s seen organizing football leagues for the youth and bringing in new projects that are entertaining and irresistible among the youth. Hawa Koomson speaking today revealed that the government will not be able to do all that is required before it leaves office. She revealed that Nana Addo and his government or the Npp will do their best in managing this country but it takes the individuals in the country to make the change that they need and deserve.
Hawa Koomson speaking on the accolades that she was given for closing down the sea and fishing for some months revealed that what needs to be done needs to be done well. She revealed that there was a massive increase in the number of fish harvested in the first few weeks after the sea was opened and she was really happy about her decision.
This is our country and we deserve development and since we want to improve the country, we should know that we have one shot at this and we cannot let our guards down- Hawa Koomson stated. She revealed that there have been a number of issues concerning the fisheries sector and she’s working her way out to making sure all is well and running smoothly. Her efforts in the past few months is worth applauding.
