Jirapa MCE, Madam Christine Bombanye Amadu(Left) Angfaara Eric(Right)
Municipal Chief Executive of Jirapa in the Upper West Region has arrested a young man by name Angfaara Eric after he passed statements suggesting the MCE Campaigned against the Parliamentary candidate Paul Derigubaa.
Mr. Derigubaa was the Lawmaker for Jirapa in 2012 as an Independent candidate, he later switched to the New Patriotic Party where he contested the Parliamentary Primaries and won. He lost to Mr. Cletus Seidu Dapilah who polled 25,175 as against 9,366 polled by Mr. Paul Derigubaa.

Jirapa MCE causes arrest of Angfaara Eric over a comment he made that suggests she played a role in the defeat of the NPP Parliamentary candidate in the just ended elections.
