Aisha Huang Is Not Our In-Law. Okudzeto Ablakwa Explains

Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa has refuted claims by Aisha Huang's attorney that his client is married to a Ghanaian. According to the Ranking Member on the foreign affairs committee of parliament, this is not the first time Aisha Huang used that assertion as a leverage to enter Ghana, or escape the law.

Counsel for Aisha Huang, Capt. Rtd. Nkrabea Effah Dartey, said after his client's first day in court that, Aisha Huang is married to a very influential businessman who is a Ghanaian. However, Hon Okudzeto believes this is a lie that has been fabricated to ease up on Aisha's prosecution.

Hon Ablakwa explained that, Aisha Huang first claimed she was married to a Ghanaian student in China named Anthony Fabian who turned out to be non-existent. Hon. Okudzeto therefore asked Aisha and her counsel to provide evidence of her first husband's existence.

'Where is Aisha Huang's first husband?' he asked. He then told Ghanaians that, Aisha is very tactful, that she used her supposed first husband's identity to obtain permanent residence in the country. This time around, she has resulted to the same antics in an attempt to escape the law. Okudzeto thinks that should not be allowed even if she is married to a Ghanaian. He took to his twitter page on Saturday and wrote. “Aisha Huang is not our in-law, and we really don’t care if she is. This sympathy wheeze by her legal team is most ridiculous. Ghanaians must not fall for this latest gobbledygook,”

Aisha Huang has been arrested for the second time after being deported. She is expected to stand trial in the country and face the penalties for crimes she has committed. These include falsifying documents to enable her enter the country as well as indulging in illegal small scale mining.

Aisha Huang escaped the law the first time, only to return and continue her illegal mining menace. Most people believe she had assistance from some key politicians in pulling that off. Ghanaians are fuming for her to face the music for her crimes, present and past. As to whether that will happen, only time can tell.
