Gabby Otchere-Darko, who is a popularly known Ghanaian lawyer, politician and leading member of the ruling party (NPP) has recently caused massive stir across all social media platforms after unexpectedly reacting to the dismissal of the petitioner’s review application in the ongoing election petition hearing at the apex court.

The petitioner unexpectedly suffered another defeat at the Supreme Court after a 9 member review panel of Judges rejected Mahama’s review application that could’ve compelled the Chairperson of the electoral commission, Jean Mensah to be cross examined by the lead counsel of the petitioner, Tsatsu Tsikata.

With respect to this, Gabby Otchere took the privilege to share his opinion on the unexpected dismissal of the petitioner’s case filed before the apex court.

According to Gabby Otchere, He was pretty disappointed in the court ruling as the petitioner’s case was unexpectedly rejected after Mahama filed for a review.

In addition, Gabby Octchere indirectly mocked the petitioner whilst revealing that, the lead counsel of the petitioner, Tsatsu Tsikata exhibited an unexpected gesture after the petitioner’s review application was dismissed.

According to Gabby Otchere, Tsatsu Tsikata immediately picked up his files and law reports and hurriedly sprinted from the courtroom before a leading member of the petitioner’s team, Dominic Ayine’s contempt case was heard.

”I was pretty disappointed seeing lead counsel for the petitioner picking up his files and law reports to sprint from the courtroom before a leading member of his team, Dominic Ayine’s contempt case was heard. The symbolic solidarity would have been neat”, Gabby Otchere emphatically stated.
