The National Chairman of Ghana Freedom Party "GFP", Mr Kwaku Abankwa has urged President Akufo-Addo to stick to his guns, but not to give in to pressures including financial sanctions from the President of United State, Joe Biden to allow lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer and intersex (LGBTQI) people to openly operate in the country.
He encouraged President Akuffo Addo not to be pushed around by that threat of use of financial sanctions by President Joe Biden so as not to go against his belief, faith and principle in the word of God which strictly abhors that despicable behaviour .
Mr Kwaku Abankwa made this statement in a press release where called on President Nana Addo to reject the presidential memorandum issued by President Joe Biden which is aimed at expanding protection of the rights of LGBTQI people in Ghana and Africa as a whole.
Madam Akua Donkoh's National Chairman further cautioned people who are into such destructive lifestyle not to make any attempt to openly operate in Ghana because Ghanaians will not allow them to freely engage in such abominable act.
