Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta Must Go - That Won't Change Anything

In compliance with Article 82 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana, the NDC Caucus in Parliament has successfully filed a motion for his immediate removal.

It's glad to hear there’s a positive indication some of our NPP colleagues will support us. This must be a national, non-partisan, patriotic agenda to save our country from the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia/Ofori-Atta mess which now poses a national security threat.

The finance minister only weaves schemes and strategies to finance government business.

The number of ministers will not reduce when he's gone. The number of presidential staffers will not reduce when he is gone.

The number of state vehicles that get fueled with state money will not be reduced when he is gone. Government policies will not change when he's gone. The Central Bank's regulations will not change when he's gone.

The president whose vision the minister of finance with state resources will be there when he's gone. And I don't think the economic management team headed by Veep will be dissolved when he's gone.

And let's even agree that he's responsible for this mess it took him six years to cause it. To the next person coming to occupy the finance minister's seat, I sympathize with you.
