During a recent interview on Angel FM, the Honourable member of Parliament representing the good people of Asawasi constituency, Hon. Mubarak Muntaka Mohammed, boldly exposed the plans of the majority caucus in parliament.
According to him, the current parliament is all about number and that a caucus without the required numbers will fall short. He also added that the majority side is working hard to reduce the numbers of the minority. In continuation, he said;
"Many people do not know that apart from Hon. James Gyakye Quayson's case at the Supreme court, they have also targeted about eight of our seats just to reduce our numbers. These includes Jomoro, Pusiga, Krachi east or west and the others. Importantly, it must be noted that we have also taken them to court to reduce their numbers. Nevertheless, as compared to ours were the case is normally adjourned, theirs is moving with speed so there is delibrate attempt to reduce our numbers".
