President Nana Akufo-Addo has sworn into office, members of the Council of State. The swearing in ceremony for the 8th Council of State took place at the Jubilee House in Accra today and the marquee tent that was used is exceptionally beautiful and cozy, depicting how prosperous the country is, under his tenure.
Information is still not out about which decor company was behind it, but we can imagine that, it is surely very expensive, and Ghana could afford it. The tent ceiling is beautiful, with a cozy carpeted floor making it extremely comfortable. The designer marquee tent boasted of a stage that had only the President sitting on it on a new Presidential seat, different from what is usually used by the President.
The members of the council sat on white draped seats and the Vice President and the staff at the Presidency were seated on the left side of the President. In all, 31 members of the Council of State were sworn into office. In his remarks during the swearing in, the President observed that he was looking “forward very much to working with a Council that will continue to offer me honest advice, based on unvarnished truth. I look forward to working with a Council that will help deepen our democracy, and help enhance the quality of our governance, and I look forward to working with a Council that will help us deliver a prosperous Ghana.”

02-24 19:59:27Is the blogger being just cynical or is he an imbecile? What kind of prosperity is he talking about? Being part of the kleptocracy he is totally oblivious of the suffering masses. How can he describe Ghana as prosperous when the debt to GDP ratio stands at 80%?Oh my God! This country is really doomed!
