Investigative journalists, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has been warned to be careful about his public appearance.
Anas Aremeyaw Anas was there to mourn with his boss. He was seen in pictures that have been posted on his Facebook page sitting in all-black attire.
In the pictures, Anas seems to be in motion alone and this is a concern to some Ghanaians. Advising the celebrated journalist, Mr. Elikem Kotoko indicated that the security of the country is now porous and Anas should watch his steps before anything bad happens to him.
He also indicated that it will be best if Anas Aremeyaw Anas moves with more than three persons when attending any public gathering.
“At best, I want to suggest that under this dispensation, when attending any public gathering, ensure there are three, four, or even more doppelganger of you. This is because security is now porous and you will be shocked they can send their guys to simply unmask you in public forcefully”. Mr. Elikem Kotoko advised.
Anas Aremeyaw Anas has been wearing a mask in the public domain for many years now. This is due to his style of conducting investigations.
He has exposed a lot of big men through his works. His last documentary was titled ‘Corona quacks’. He exposed some health workers who were trading the personal protective equipment provided to fight coronavirus.
He featured one of the biggest investigations which compelled FIFA to sanction all officials involved. One of the big names that were affected is Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi, the former President of the Ghana Football Association.
Mr. Elikem Kotoko believes his works are very risky and must be careful in public.
