The wife of the former member of parliament for the Mfantsepem constituency has been given a post in the NPP side of parliament. This follows the death of her husband who used to be the member of parliament for the area. This unfortunate incident later forced her to resign from her active position in the Ghana Police Service to take up the mantle from her deceased husband.
God Being so good, the new member of parliament elect has been chosen to replace the the current deputy chief whip in the majority side of parliament. The member of parliament for the Mfantseman, Mrs Ophelia Hayford, And The Member Of Parliament for the Tolon constituency, Habib Iddrisu, are to take over from the Kpandai and Trobu members of parliament.
However, the New Patriotic Party has still hinted the possibility of maintaining the current majority leader in parliament. According to Adom online, the party has also made the decision of appointing Alex Afenyo Markin as the deputy majority leader of parliament.
