The spokesperson on Creative Arts for the opposition, National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sadiq Abdulai Abu has pointed to Sarkodie claim that President Akuffo Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) solved the erratic power supply (dumsor) challenge that hit the country when the NDC was in power as “ignorance”.
Sarkodie in his latest song with Kwame Eugene titled “Happy Day” applauded Nana for solving dumsor and implementing good policies.
“When there was dumsor and inflation, I talked about it. But if today, the problem of Dumsor has been solved and my children go to school for free, then I have nothing to say but to ask Nana to continue ruling”, Sarkodie said.
But Baba Sadiq took to his Twitter page to disagree with him. According to him, Nana Addo never solved ‘Dumsor’ and didn’t create ESLA+
He further added that Nana Addo didn’t add any capacity and questioned why the president didn’t cancel any of the PPA’s he claimed to be fraudulent when he was in opposition then.
He concluded by jabbing Sarkodie as having some of the most ignorant fanatics following him and he should stop being ignorant on some issues. He humbly asked Sarkodie to upgrade his knowledge base.
