Columnist, Haruna Nuako, has asked the Member of Parliament for Effiduase/Asokore Constituency, Dr Ayew Afriyie to keep his poisonous mouth shut if he has nothing to convince the people.
According to Columnist Nuako, Dr Nana Ayew Afriyie is creating more problems for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's candidature for the presidency come 2024 elections.
He says the MPs alleged threat to anyone who threatens to lead a charge on those “who will try to make things unduly difficult for the Vice President’s emergence as NPP flag bearer,” as he told a local radio station is simply unparliamentary.
This he says is rather adding more fuel to the fire as the youth in the Ashanti Region already have some kind of dissatisfaction for Dr. Bawumia.
For him, an MP's work is to unite and not take stance with one person and expects followers to follow suit, because they (followers) also have their own candidate they want.
According to him, they have identified the Vice President as a liar and can therefore not break the 8 for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
"breaking the eight with Vice President Bawumia, who has been identified as a liar, will not be possible."
Therefore, Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie should keep his poisonous mouth shut, if he has nothing to say to convince the people.
