Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin has boldly sent a strong warning to the Majority Leader to stop giving contrary information in the media, when he, the Speaker speaks on the floor of Parliament.
The Speaker revealed in Parliament that Parliament is broke but the majority leader revealed in the media that, Parliament is not broke and what the Speaker said was not factual.
While replying to the Majority Leader on the floor of Parliament, Speaker Alban Bagbin boldly revealed that the majority leader should stop doing that because he won't accept it. He revealed that he was right when he said Parliament was broke.
“In Ghana, Parliament is not supreme. It is subject to the constitution and so it is important that when the Speaker speaks from the chair, the leader of the House is not seen to be the one countering what the spokesperson of the arm of government says and if they want us to give documentary evidence of the nonfunding of the house for this year we will provide that."
“So, when I heard that a leader of the house has gone on air to say that what I said is not true it saddens me. In response to what I said yesterday, the government proceeded to release money yesterday and there is evidence of that. Enough is Enough." Bagbin boldly revealed this on the floor of Parliament.

Do you think Bagbin was right about Parliament being broke and the message he's giving the majority leader now??
Do you think Bagbin is just using the Speaker position to help the NDC??
