Deputy NLA Boss Humiliates NPP Essikado-Ketan; Party Folks Cautions Against Her Contest In Primaries

The early signals firing at the Deputy CEO for the National Lottery Authority, Anna Horma Miezeh may cause party leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Essikado-Ketan Constituency and the Western Region to be concerned about their prospects going into 2024 parliamentary elections. Following a political embarrassment caused by Madam Horma Miezah at the just ended Kuntum festival, party supporters have started lamenting and cursing leadership should they ever allow her to contest the NPP Essikado-Ketan primaries.
Reports as gathered from the constituency over the weekend indicate that Horma Miezah sponsored Aya Ramzy B, a Takoradi-based artist to perform at the Kuntum festival, in her bid to gain political favour from the constituents. Unfortunately, the artist identified with his sponsor [Horma Miezah] as the 2020 parliamentary candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Grace Ayensu Danquah.
For about 5 minute prior to his performance on stage, Aya Ramzy B sung the praise of the NDC candidate, and even campaigned for votes for her candidature in the coming elections. So scandalous, and thus caused an impression of a rather misfired political strategy by Hormah Miezah to register her interest with the people of Essikado-Ketan.
