The vetting process of President Nana Addo’s appointees has entered another day today. The vetting, which started from February 10, 2021, has already vetted appointees like:
Honourable Kwaku Agyeman Manu- Minister Designate for Health.
Mr. Ken Dapaah- National Security Minister-Designate.
Honourable Dominic Nitiwul- Minister Designate for Defense.
Honourable Yaw Osei Adutwum- Minister Designate for Education.
Honourable Osei Kyei-Mensah Bonsu- Minister Designate for Parliamentary Affairs.
Godfred Dame-Attorney General and Minister designate for Justice.
Honourable Ambrose Dery-Minister Designate for Interior.
The others who have also gone through the vetting process are:
Honourable Matthew Opoku Prempeh-Minister Designate for Energy.
Ms. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey-Minister Designate for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
Honourable Kwasi Amoako-Atta-Minster Designate for Roads and Highways.
Honourable Ursula Owusu-Ekuful- Minister Designate for Communications and Digitization.
Honourable Ignatius Baffour Awuah- Minister Designate for Employment and Labour Relations.
Honourable Dan Botwe- Minister Designate for Local Government and Rural Development.
Honourable Sarah Adwoa Safo- Minister Designate for Gender, Children and Social Protection.
Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta Minister Designate for Finance was scheduled to vetting on 16h February, 2021, but due to health issues couldn’t make it.
We have seen and heard all these appointees during their vetting process. Today 18th February; Honourable Mavis Hawa Koomson- Minister Designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development and Honourable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah-Minister Designate for Information will also be taking their turn of the vetting. Let hear what they also have to tell the Appointment committee and Ghanaians as a whole.
Tomorrow 19th February 2021 will be the turn of Honourable Kwaku Afriyie-Minister designate for environment, Science, technology and Innovation, and Honourable Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto- Minister Designate for Agriculture. These two Minister Appointees will been closing the vetting process for the week.
Next week’s vetting process (22nd February) will be starting with Ms. Cecilia Abena Dapaah-Minister Designate for Sanitation and Water Resources and Honourable Kwaku Ofori Asiamah- Minister Designate Road and Transport.
All these appointees; if approved by parliament will be serving with President Nana Addo in his second four years term in office.
