Since the 2022 budget was read by the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta, there have been discussions all over. The National Democratic Congress has opined that the budget will bring a lot of hardships on the people of Ghana. The introduction of the E-Levy, they claim will collapse Momo businesses and make life very unbearable for the ordinary citizen. They have therefore named the budget the "awudie budget" to wit "the killing budget".
Earlier today, a picture of how Parliament looks like since the MPs will be voting on the budget has popped up. The picture which has surfaced on the internet has National Democratic Congress Members of Parliament already seated whiles the New Patriotic Party Members of Parliament absent.
