"You're Too Old" - Ghanaians 'Fire' As President Buhari Plans Another Medical Trip To UK

One very worrying situation in African is the canker of old people leading the various nations of the continent. Ironically, Africa has the most youthful population in the world, with an average age of around nineteen to twenty one years.

But almost all the presidents of the various countries of the continent are beyond the age of sixty, with many of them beyond seventy years of age. This has created the problem of the various countries having to spend a lot of money on the medical bills of these old, weak, and sickly people leading as presidents, heads of states, or prime ministers. It becomes more worrying when they seek medical attention from other advanced countries in Europe, America, etc.

This is the problem Nigerians are dealing with at the moment. Their president, Muhamadu Buhari is now 78 years old, and he is obviously not in a very sound condition medically. From the time he assumed office as president in 2015, president Buhari has made countless trips to the United Kingdom to seek medical care.

In 2021 alone, he has already made one trip to the UK, and he is said to be making another trip again. This will be the second time the Nigerian leader is travelling to the UK for medical care. The president of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo is also more than 78 years in age.

The details of his health challenge of the Nigeria president has however not been made public. After hearing this, Ghanaians have reacted in several ways. Some people are even asking the Nigerian President to step down, as he is too old and weak to still lead a great nation like Nigeria. Read some comments below.
