The Municipal Chief Executive of Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly, Honourable Iddrissah Outtarrah has assured the people of Dormaa of constructing and tarring all roads in the Municipallity soon in this year, 2021.

Speaking to the media, he said, though about 90% of the inner roads are completely done with asphalt and some are also under construction, the linking roads to the neighbouring communities are now actually left untarred and poorly in nature.

Looking at the current situation of Dormaa Ahenkro to Aboabo No.1, 2, 3 and their environs, the road network is truely bad and would be done soon.

Not only that linking road, Dormaa Ahenkro to Kosani and other communities, the road network is deeply bad and it is captured to construct and tar soon.

Again, linking road from Dormaa Ahenkro to Duasidan, Yaa Krom and other communities are also deteriorated and it is under construction.

Honourable MCE said, the Municipal Assembly gets revenue from the farmers and traders who patronize and trade at the Dormaa Central Market. And majority of agricultural produces come long way from the rural communities to feed the Municipality and beyond.

With all, he cannot afford to look at his people suffering from road development. His office would by all means complete all linking roads in the Municipality very soon.

He declared, some of the roads are given to constructors and works are ongoing which will be completed soon in this year, 2021.
