Popular Ghanaian Law Professor, Mr Stephen Kwaku Asare A.K.A Kwaku Azar has just dropped another controversial message on social media concerning the ongoing 2020 election petition hearing. He made the post few hours ago and Netizens can't stop talking about it.

According to the maverick law professor, it is the interest of the Electoral Commission of the Republic of Ghana, the president, the petitioner and the Supreme Court for the returning officer ( Mrs Jean Mensah) to enter the witness box and give accurate answers to all the questions former president John Dramani Mahama (Petitioner) has to ask.

He said he doesn't see any disadvantage in the Electoral Commission chairperson mounting the witness box to dispute the claims of the petitioner. He insists the EC boss gets into the witness box and speak the truth as she knows it and also clear any clouds surrounding the 2020 presidential election.

Professor Kwaku Azar also stated that he disagrees with Barrister Tsatsu Tsikata's election theory. According to his words, Barrister Tsatsu Tsikata should have tendered in the witness' statement and then move to cross examination. He also revealed that Tsatsu Tsikata's point about justice and affidavits are more persuasive and his advocacy skills are a pleasure to watch.

He concluded by saying that another way to get the Electoral Commission boss in the witness box is through a subpoena. She'll be boxed in and go into the box voluntarily.
