The Municipal Chief Executive for Upper Denkyira East in the Central Region Hon. Ebenezer Forson Appiah has declared his support for the third term bid of Chairman Robert Kutin Jr. the incumbent chairman of the party in the region.
The MCE in an exclusive interview on Denkyiraman radio indicated that, his decision was motivated by the leadership skills, sacrifices and commitment of Chairman Kutin to the fortunes of the party at a time it seemed impossible for the NPP to wrestle power from the NDC in the lead up to the general elections in 2016 and helped in maintaining power in 2020.
"The dynamics in the Region are diverse and we need someone who knows the terrain very well and has the capacity to deliver for the party. This is not the time to do try and error. The 2024 election is a serious one and we have to parade our best and competent leaders to lead us."
Chairman Robert Kutin Jr. is seeking for another term in office.
According to Hon Ebenezer Forson Appiah Chairman Kutin surest bet for the party in the Central Region if it intends to break the 8th.
