Okudzeto Unveils One Positive Outcome Ghana Will Get From Akufo-Addo's IMF Bailouts Decision

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Okudzeto Ablakwa has revealed one important benefits Ghanaians will get from the IMF Bailouts.

According to Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa, the decision will save the Ghanaian taxpayer some money as they are likely to restrict the President Nana Akufo-Addo from chartering expensive and luxurious jet for his travel.

He explained that such a decision if taken by the IMF will help the Ghanaian taxpayer as it will help to completely cut down the cost of the Presidential trips.

The opinions of many well wishers in the country have been divided over the decision of the Nana Akufo-Addo led administration to resort to the IMF for bailouts.

The NDC was the last to expect the NPP administration to resort to the IMF because of the huge backlash they face when Former President Mahama took that decision.

Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa noted in a tweet "Perhaps the only positive outcome of an IMF bailout is that they wouldn’t allow Prez Akufo-Addo to obstinately continue with his insensitive, wasteful, oligarchic €20,000 an hour chartered luxury jet travels which have cost the suffering taxpayer over GHS34million in 13 months.

The North Tongu MP had never been pleased with the use of luxurious jet by the President for his foreign travels.
