The whole country is still saddened by military brutalities. Earlier this week military action took the lives of 2 protestors. Prior to this, armed men had slain one Ibrahim Mohammed and this caused some protestations leading to the death of the other 2 men. Many have questioned where the big wigs of the country are. They are wondering why there is so much insecurity in the country and why prominent figures are quiet about this.
Today, Friday, July 2, 2021 Captain Smart took his anger on some former presidents of the country. According to him, it was appalling that John Kufuor and John Mahama are quiet about all that is happening in the country. He wondered why the wives of these statesmen are also quiet and not advising their husbands. He queried why John Mahama is quiet and waiting for campaign season to talk to Ghanaians.
“I respect you so much but you are too quiet. Today, I won’t spare you. Someone should wake Kufuor up. When you speak Ghanaians listen, so why are you quiet. You are the best president of the Fourth Republic. There is no doubt about that. You are too quiet. Or is it because it is your party? John Mahama, are you also there? Whether you become President in 2024 I don’t care. You are quiet. You need to speak about this. John, are you a happy man.
I am disappointed in Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Lordina Mahama, Nana Konadu Rawlings, Naadu Mills. Why are they quiet about the killings? I am disappointed in our leaders. John Mahama if you are asleep, then wake up. Are you a happy man? Rise and speak for the youth of Ghana.
