Many youths of today are under a lot of pressure as a result of the hardships in this country and how things have become tough. Teenage girls are at the risk of getting pregnant since most men lure them with the quest of helping them but end up shattering their dreams and making their lives even more difficult.
The Member of Parliament for Ketu South Hon Dzifa Gomashie has urged girls in her constituency to be focused and not be distracted from their aspirations in life. She said it is important for the girls to take their eyes off obstacles and perceptions in attempt to break new grounds in order to make themselves and their parents proud. Also, they could become examples to their generation if they keep focus.
She addressed the girls of Agblekpri M/A Basic School as the guest speaker at an event dubbed, 'breast cancer awareness' programme which was organized by a Non Profit Female Organization.

She said, ' don't allow anything including boys or men to derail you from your path to greatness.' She also urged the young ones to aspire for the best always.
The engaging programme which witnessed varied talks from the municipal educational directorates also educated the girls on breast cancer and how to examine their breast at home to seek early treatment should they suspect any symptoms.
