Hope; Not Distraction For Ghana

With the swearing - in of Mr. Alban Bagbin as speaker of parliament of the 8th parliament, the obsessional fear of the opposition New Patriotic Party is strong attached to the assertion that, the National Democratic Congress will expediently and confidently will use the speaker as an instrument of distraction other than focus to the policies, program and visions of the ruling government as the speaker is an occupant of the political divide.

However, the Ningo-Prampram member of parliament thinks and know otherwise. This he said that, the N.D.C in their efforts of keeping the ruling government on its toes through parliamentary business will rather think of Ghana first than partisan politics which in assumption may make things difficult for the president.

He concluded on the premise that, we as a party have shown our interest in safeguarding the democracy of the country and channeling our resources to the development of Ghana, therefore in this regard we will not conform to bias attitudes but to diligently discharge out our duties as the speaker said himself as well.
