The General Secretary elect, Justin Frimpong Kodua has said that he came into reality with his new role as the general secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), when His Excellency the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia called him "General".
According to him, it all happened when the newly elected national executives made a courtesy call to greet the Dr Bawumia.
Justin Frimpong Kodua says it was one of the executives who even prompted him that he was the one being referred to as the "General".
Speaking on Joy PM news, he recounted that
"So after greeting them, he mentioned, ‘General’! He said ‘General’. And I didn’t even respond. It was the 1st Vice Chairperson who drew my attention … And I said ‘wow’, then I’m really facing reality. I’m indeed the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party.”
However, Lawyer Justine Frimpong Kodua says he is not overwhelmed with his new position and we are hopeful that he will do his job diligently.
