NPP suspends campaign activities in Yapei-Kusawgu to mourn parliamentary candidate

The administering New Patriotic Party (NPP) has suspended its mission exercises in the Savannah Region. 

This follows the passing of the gathering's parliamentary contender for Yapei-Kusawgu.

In an announcement by the Savannah Regional NPP, the gathering stated: "On the guidelines of the Savannah Regional Chairman, Alhaji Sulemana Iddrisu (Prof Kalamonia) and the Regional Council of Elders, all mission exercises in the Region are suspended with prompt impact".

"These mandates are in accordance with the gathering's admiration and sympathy to the groups of our expired legends; Hon. Abu Kamara, Mr Kotochi Majeed and Mr Adam Abu". 

"We grieve with the families in these difficult occasions. May the Good Lord award them Jannat-al Firdaus. So be it", the announcement marked by Mr Mohammed Issah, Director of Communications, Savanna NPP, said.
