The names of the MMDCEs for the two hundred and sixty Metropolitan, Municipal and District Offices in Ghana has been released. The head of communications for the New Patriotic Party by name Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has updated his Facebook page with the decision made on the MMDCEs.
As the names of those supposed to man the affairs of the various Metropolitan, Municipal and District offices have been released, the New Patriotic Party Youths in certain regions got angry at the appointments made.
It has been reported that the party youths at certain districts have destroyed property belonging to the party to prove their dislike for the choices made.
As the post which can be seen below was made by Honourable Kojo Oppog-Nkrumah, certain youths reacted with their displeasure in the comment section.
The comments seek to warn the New Patriotic Party that they were not happy with the choices made.
Fuseini Seiibu points it out blankly as NPP is dead. He has also complained about the choice of leader made at Salaga.
Sammy has agreed to the decision, but Nipa is of the view that their decision would send the party into opposition. Nipa has blamed the lose of the Ablekuma seat to the Municipal Chief Executive that has been appointed again, and believes that with him on board, they have no chances of winning the elections in the 2024 polls to come.
Ernest Abogye also believes that NPP would be in opposition after the 2024 presidential and Parliamentary elections.
Kofi Danso has asked the executives to prepare for opposition at the choices that they have made at Denkyira East.
Ibrahim Wunpini seeks to ask whether they believe they can break the eight with such appointments. In fact, the New Patriotic Party believes that they would remain in power after Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has served his constitutionality mandated two terms.
