Veep to cut sod for the construction of PTC interchange at Takoradi in September -Roads Minister

Clergyman for Roads and Highways, Hon. Kwasi Amoako Atta has implied that the Takoradi PTC Interchange venture will start in September this year. He revealed that the Vice President of the Republic, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is booked to cut grass for the undertaking in the main seven day stretch of September this year. 

Tending to columnists in front of a multi day visit by President Nana Akufo-Addo in the Western Region, the Roads Minister focused on that the service would proclaim "another day break of street foundation" for the district. 

He point by point that an all out street system of 1,258 kilometers would be finished in the resulting a long time to add to the street framework base of the Western Region. 

Hon. Amoako Atta referenced that 80 new street ventures are at present continuous; 27 of which are being administered by the Ghana Highways Authority, 34 under Feeder Roads, and leftover portion being overseen by the Urban Roads Department. 

"These undertaking have progressed at different phases of fulfillment" he accentuated. 

Adding to these rundown of ventures, 25 "Special Projects" are to be started in a month's time. 

These ventures, envelops 10 street ventures which would be regulated by the Ghana Highways Authority, 5 under Feeder Roads, and 10 others under Urban Roads. 

The Western Region has a complete street system of 5,289.7 kilometers. Per a gauge by the Roads Minister, the district has about 45% of its street arrange in exceptionally helpless state, and in this way merits a facelift.
