We won't accept the results today nor tomorrow and my Christmas gift is justice- Yamoah Ponko

Former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ejisu Juaben Constituency, Hon. Akuamoah Yamoah Ponko revealed that, NDC will not accept this results today nor tomorrow.

According to him, the collation done by the NDC indicates that NPP candidate Akuffo Addo did not get the fifty percent plus one(50% + 1), that is the reason why they are insisting demonstrating in the Ashanti Region. Both President Mahama and Akuffo Addo none of them had the percentage stipulated in the constitution, this indicates the election should go on run- off.

Speaking on Hello FM in Kumasi the Sister Station of Peace FM this morning, referring to what happened during the demonstration in Kumasi, he posited that the executive did not instruct anybody to burn tyres, nor throw stones so the culprits could be arrested by the police. NDC is for peace and not violence, we don't condone that. He added.

Yamoah Ponko reacting to assertion that NDC should go to court, he said, the 1992 constitution of the country has given 21 days to seek redress and is left for about 7 days. People cannot sleep because something vital has been rigged from their hand, and they won't sit down for our lost property. His Christmas gift to every Ghanaian is justice, free and fair.
