NPP Shouldn't Be Happy That They've Lost Their Identity As A Capitalist party - Dr. Kuganab-Lem

NPP communicators have been throwing jabs at the NDC that despite being a capitalist party, they've instituted a lot of social intervention projects more than the NDC, which is supposed to be a social democratic party.

Reacting to this statement by communicators of the NPP, the former Member of Parliament for the Binduri constituency, Dr. Kuganab-Lem Robert, has said that the NPP shouldn't be happy that they've lost their identity as a capitalist party.

Dr. Kuganab-Lem Robert made this statement on 'Good Morning Africa' on Pan Africa television this morning, 25th November 2021, when he claimed that what the NPP is doing is populist interventions, but not social interventions.

According to Dr. Kuganab-Lem, he will call the claims by the NPP as being a capitalist party but doing social interventions as a lost identity on their part.

Dr. Kuganab-Lem Robert indicated that if you don't know who you are, you wouldn't know what you are doing and where you are going.

So, it is important to let Ghanaians know that what the NPP is doing is not social interventions, but what they are doing is populist interventions because populist interventions are the interventions that will not last with time since they are not sustainable like NABCO.

"The NPP should not be happy that they have lost their identity and don't know who they are or where they are going because it won't help them."

Dr. Kuganab-Lem Robert said that the NPP should also stop implementing populist projects and rather do projects that are sustainable because that is the only way they can come close to the NDC.

"The NPP looks at low hanging populist projects, do them and say that they are doing social interventions which are the jobs of a social democratic party like the NDC."

He revealed that what the NPP is doing is not what a social democratic party will do because what the NDC does is to do sustainable projects that will change the lives of communities forever. "We don't go doing projects just to satisfy some small number of people and say we are doing what a social democratic party has failed to do or will not do."
