I’ll File A Contempt Of Court Case Against James Quayson If He Ever Comes To Parliament

Honourable Andy Kwame Appiah-Kubi speaking on the matter against the embattled Assin North Member of Parliament said he will solely file a contempt of court against the MP should he ever enter the build set for the MPs.

The Asante Akim legislator opined that once Hon. James Quayson Gyakye has been asked by the court to step aside with his parliamentary duties, he has no business coming to the house(Parliament) for anything.

Hon. Andy Kwame made those utterances after it emerged that the legal team member of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Mr. Amaliba mentioned that the embattled Assin North MP still holds his position as he was chose by the people of Assin North.

Hon. Quayson Gyakye was declared not fit to perform parliamentary duties by a Supreme Court rule on 5-2 grounds. This in fact states a majority rule not in favour.

According to the ruling, new elections were recommended whilst the Mp was expected not to part-take in any parliamentary proceedings.

But, the MP has been allegedly going to the house of the lawmakers.

Hon. Appiah-Kubi speaking on TV3’s Saturday morning show with Dzifa Bampoe, he mentioned that if the embattled MP ever step a foot in parliament again, he’ll file a case of contempt against the MP.
