5 Reasons why Greater Accra Regional Minister could become a future Presidential Candidate for NPP

Though it is obvious that the NPP’s key contenders in the upcoming flagbearership race is between the current Vice president Mahamadu Bawomia and the Trade minister, Alan Kojo KyereManten.

It is also a known fact that Henry Quartey as a regional minister has proven beyong reasonable doubt that Ghana’s Capital can become the next clean city in Africa.

Below are some of the significant reasons which I deem necessary that New Patriotic Party could consider for the greater Accra regional minister, Henry Quartey to become a candidate in the upcoming or future flagbearership contest.

1. Through his perseverance, confidence, hardwork and leadership, he has been able to embark on major sanitation exercise which past mayors have found it as no go zone over the years .

2. He has kept his cool and endured physical confrontations in some of the demolition exercises he embarked on. Irrespective of the resistance, he still goes ahead to accomplish his goals through major demolition exercises in Accra which have been pending for years.

3. Charisma- the charming personality that draws people to naturally admire and follow you. He keeps enjoying massive support from his people through his toughness and goal oriented nature. This could translate into votes.

4.Goal Driven: when he sets his eyes on a particular goal, it is difficult for him to be easily influenced. He performs his role without fear no favor and that is what many Ghanaians expect from a good leader.

5. Time Consciousness: Henry Quartey has brought this new zeal to get things done at the various district and Municipal Assemblies in Accra. He operates as if time is not on his side therefore deadlines given to tasks have been completed as schedule.
