The Big Lies Would Not Stop Me- Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa To Critics

The presidential saga is still looming as some people are saying that member of parliament for North Tongu constituency, Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has also travelled with a private jet to the United kingdom for studies.

He has fully responded that those big lies will never stop him from serving his nation. He penned down a long message to respond to his critics as he is holding government accountable on the presidential jet Saga. See his message below.

"An outmoded ad hominem tactic which some still resort to out of desperation is to attack the messenger when they can’t deal with the message.

I have at no point in my life chartered a private jet neither have I ever used one. Also, at no point have I offered a course requiring me to make weekly or monthly travels to the UK at government expense. Those behind these devilish concoctions know they are peddling blatant untruths from the pit of hell.

Perhaps as we have provided comprehensive and authoritative information including flight registration details for the President’s chartered jets, I challenge the purveyors of these pathetic fabrications to provide same on the aircrafts they are pitiably ascribing to me.

It may be worth reminding these elements that I have never been in charge of taxpayer funds.

The BIG LIES would not stop us from carrying out our constitutional mandate as duly elected Members of Parliament expected to hold the Executive in check.

It has not been that long in our history when MP for Akim Abuakwa South, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his colleague NPP MPs raised major concerns and waged a spirited campaign over President Rawlings’ purchase of the Gulfstream GIII - Ghana’s third Presidential Jet. Nobody gagged MP Akufo-Addo then and my colleagues and I shall not be gagged now.

We march on without fear or favour; our only motivation is the supreme national interest and the genuine protection of the public purse. For God and Ghana 🇬🇭" Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa shared.
