Kumericans Angry At Their MP For Donating Money To Ketasco Instead Of Prempeh College

Many people from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region have expressed disappointment in the action of Hon. Collins Adomako, the member of parliament for Afigya Kwabre North in the Ashanti Region for donating money to the Keta Senior High Technical School contestants instead of Prempeh College guys.

United Television (UTV) shared a post explaining how the member of parliament for Afigya Kwabre North promised Francisca Lamini a sum of two thousand cedis for being the only female to reach the finals with her school for the past eight years.

This gesture infuriated some of the people from Ashanti Region who think that money could be used to support people from the Ashanti Region. Most have described his actions as populism and attention seeking because the contestants from Prempeh College equally need same attention.

They also bemoaned why a third school have to trend more and receive more donations than the school that even won the competition.

Some have even warned to vote against him for that gesture.
