Ghanaian journalist and managing director of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Junior has finally and boldly sent a fresh message to President Akufo-Addo over his no reshuffle comments. Akufo-Addo during an interview with a radio in Tamale revealed that he will not do a reshuffle in his government because his ministers are performing well. The President added that the NDC members are only calling for a reshuffle to destabilize the government and so he won't listen to them.
While reacting to the comments of the President on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV, Kwesi Pratt Junior boldly told Akufo-Addo that he cannot rule the country but based on his judgment alone. He mentioned that a country should be ruled based on the views of all concerned groups and citizens in the country and not only those in power.
“ It's not only the NDC with are calling for a reshuffle, even some key NPP members have equally called for the same. Akufo-Addo shouldn't administer the country based on his judgment alone. He should accommodate everyone’s views even if the person is from the NDC or opposition. That is how a democracy works. The President can decide not to reshuffle but Ghanaians will ultimately decide at the 2024 elections. How do you run a country without the judgment of organized labor and your own party who put you there as President? I will say very strongly that his judgment is not sufficient to make decisions in the country.” Kwesi Pratt boldly revealed this.
What's your take on Kwesi Pratt and his thoughts? Do you agree with him?
