It was a remarkable moment at the NPP National headquarters during the handing over ceremony. This was a crucial time to appreciate the outgoing executives and usher in the new ones who have an Herculean task ahead to 'break the eight.'
An agenda by the NPP is to continue ruling after 8 years and as such these elected new officials are deemed competent and committed to the course.

The officials seized the opportunity to congratulate the each other, everything was perfectly done and the whole exercise was a smooth one. Some of them assured their unwavering commitment and support to the welfare of the party.
Those in attendance included:Stephen Ntim the national chairman, Justin Frimpong Kodua the general secretary, Nana Boakye, the National Organization and other executives.
However, one popular person seems to absent and that is the then general secretary who has lost his position. Some Ghanaians are asking where he was during the handing over. Below are their reactions.
