Sam George has opposed the budget over and over again. He thinks this budget will only cause more problems than there is in the country.
This country needs peace and a break from the things that are happening at the moment.
No food, no water, electricity tariffs and it’s associated problems, e-levy and the rise in the solar and a depreciating value of the cedi are all matters that are burdening Ghanaians.
According to Sam George in a post made to social media before the budget was sent to the Parliament House, the minority caucus were ready to battle the majority in parliament.
This was because of the increment in the e-levy and the bad governance that they think this country is facing under this government.
It was however surprising and very heart breaking on the path of Ghanaians who feel the Ndc and the minority caucus in parliament betrayed them.
The Ndc and the minority caucus according to the reports that were brought from the Parliament House barely set a foot there.
Is this a way they were using to get back at the majority caucuses who did similar thing or because they actually wanted the budget to be accepted?
The comment from Sam George seems to give a clear or a reasonable amount of evidence to assume that the minority caucuses have nothing to do with this.
In a post from Sam George, he claims Ghanaians deserve better and that’s because this is a home for us all as Ghanaians.
There is no way Ghanaians should suffer this much according to Sam George and he together with the minority caucuses do not agree to this.
See the post from Sam George here.
Sam George thinks the e-levy is no financial engineering and no tactical way to save the country or the economy like many are thinking.
