The Bono Regional Youth Organizer for the National Democratic Congress, Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo has revealed that former President, John Dramani Mahama's wife Lordina Mahama is not greedy as the New Patriotic Party members are calling on her to refund the allowances paid to her since 2009 when she became first and second lady in the country.
Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo has defended Mahama's wife with some facts showing that she is not greedy and dare NPP folks to bring out documents from auditor general's office to disprove his facts and do otherwise for first lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
His message below and how he proved that lordina Mahama is not greedy.
MRS LORDINA MAHAMA IS NOT GREEDY.
"Do you know the allowance the state was giving Mrs Mahama EVERY THREE MONTHS? Not salary ooo allowance, it was 8, 000 Ghana Cedis. Thus 2,600 per month as allowance for some formal and supportive services rendered to the state.
My brother, 2,600, thus a salary of a junior Police Officer or a teacher who Nana Addo insulted and cursed recently. NPP should bring their documents from auditor General to disprove this.
This is a mother who cares for the Nation not someone who will pressure her husband to pay her over 33,000 salary and 87,000 allowances per month.
Now let's do the calculations:
With Lordina Mahama it means she receives that allowance(8,000) 4times every year 4×8000=32,000. Therefore; 32,000×4 =128,000 for 4years.
Let's note that Mrs Lordina served as second Lady and first Lady, 4years each.
What this means is that H. E Lordina Mahama throughout her 8years as second Lady and first Lady received 256,000 as allowance which which just two months salary and allowances for beautiful Rebecca.
This is an amount I Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo and my Bono Regional Youth Wing can easily pay if the need arises for our lovely mother who isn't greedy. Brother 4more, remember the back pay beautiful Rebecca took till date according the Trade Union Congress is over 70billion but she just paid a little over 8billion.
So per the statement issued by Trade Union Congress, our beautiful Rebecca owe us 62billion cedis which she has to pay and show receipts to us as tax payers.
It's funny the worse National Youth Organizer in the History of Npp Nana B want to demonstrate against Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings who is still mourning her husband, Mrs Theresa Kuffour who has served her country well, Mrs. Aliu Mahama who is a widow, Mrs Amisah Arthur and Mrs. Mahama because they received allowance throughout their tenure which not up to two months salaries of beautiful Rebecca and Samira.
Nana B should note that the allowances of all the first and second ladies together in this 4th Republic put together from Mrs Rawlings to Mrs Mahama is just one year salary of beautiful Rebecca.
He should rather demonstrate to put pressure on beautiful Rebecca to refund the rest of the 62billion back pay she took from us.
Once again Mrs. Mahama is not greedy" he said on his social media today, Wednesday, 14th July, 2021.
