A section of Upper West Region
Residents of Nakore in the Wa Municipality of the Upper West Region, have commended government for the developmental projects executed in the community. Speaking on the issue, Pikpong Naa Abudi, an elder of the community, showered praises on government for tarring their roads, giving them a factory and a host of others.
Pikpong Naa revealed that a chunk of the community is not connected to electricity due to inadequate supply of electrical poles and appealed to government to ensure that the remaining parts of the community that have been left without electricity are connected
Mr. Saeed Haddi, the Unit Committee Chairman for the Nakore Electoral Area, on his part, calls for expedite action for the operationalization of the Shea nuts Procession Factory established by government in the community as part of its “One District, One Factory” policy introduced By the current president, Nana Akufo-Addo.
Nakore had its Major road tarred in 2019 by the Wa Municipal Assembly after several requests from residents of the community.
