We Will Not Let The Country Down, We'll Hold Government Accountable, That Is What Is Expected Of Us

The minority leader of Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu has assured that the minority is very ready to keep the government at his toes. He made this comment when he was asked if the minority is back together because there were some misunderstanding them before the House went on recess.

He noted that there's nothing to worry about because the minority has resolved all issues that led to their misunderstandings. According to Haruna Iddrisu, the minority is guided by what the public wants them to do. He pledged further that they (the minority) will not let the country down and they will also hold the government accountable because that what is expected of them.

“So don’t worry about us, we are very united. The party and the minority leader ship and its council of elders have discussed those matters thoroughly and we are guided by their wisdom and we are guided by what they want us to do. We will not let the country down, we will hold government accountable, that is what is expected of us".

He added later that approval of Ministers will not be a matter that will part away the minority.
