The application forms for the Ghana Immigration Service has been released recently and lots of people are finding it difficult to have access to the form in order to apply. According some citizens who went to the bank to purchase the forms, they joined long queue from morning till evening but could not get access to the form.
Some said they saw people handing over money to personnel at the bank to purchase for them. Some were seen relaxing and not joining queue but got access to the forms. According to most people without protocol, one is unable to get access to the forms. The Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, Dr. Kwaku Afriyie has said that the government recruitment process does not involve protocols and bribes but it goes to the deserved applicants.
He made this statement at Sefwi Ahafo in the Western North Region during the NPP Delegates Conference in the area. He stated that although his statement on government recruitment may seem controversial but that is the truth. He admonished anyone applying for Immigration and Police service not to pay a pesewa to anyone before being recruited.
