Notice to all SHS students in Ghana.

Ghana Education Service (GES) is responsible for ensuring that all Ghanaian children of school-going age are provided with inclusive and equitable quality Formal Education and training through effective and efficient management of resources to make education delivery relevant to the manpower needs of the nation.

Ghana Education Service (GES) is one of the organizations in the country. GES is also responsible for making things go on well in the Basic schools and the Senior high schools in the country. Ghana Education Service has released the delayed SHS placement for the first years. Ghana Education Service came out with a notice to the general public that , they wanted to change the reopening of the SHS 1 students because of the delayed in the released of the placement. And most of the SHS 1 students were wondering when they will be reporting to school. But after Ghana Education Service consultation with the stakeholders, the management are out with the date.

According to the Director-General of Ghana Education Service, Professor Kwasi-Opoku Amankwa, all first year senior high school students will report to school on 10th March, 2021 as earlier Scheduled. The Director-General also added that, his outfit had to maintain the reopening date even though it announced to review it.

The Professor Kwasi-Opoku Amankwa also stated that, the Management of Ghana education service is in consultations with Senior high school Headmasters/Headmistress to extend the date to start academic activities for this academic year. 

Professor Kwasi-Opoku Amankwa concluded by saying that, academic activities for the 4th batch of the Free Senior High School beneficiaries have been proposed to start one week after school reopening. That is Monday, March 15, 2021. Please share like and comment on this article.
