Nkoranza mayhem: Police fired live bullet And I have evidence – MP

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Nkoranza South, Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum has claimed that the Police shot live projectiles to scatter the fighting youth in Nkoranza which killed a 19 years of age understudy and harmed around nine other people who are right now doing combating for their lives at the St. Theresa's Hospital.

He stressed that he has figured out how to assemble a portion of the vacant shells of the projectiles that were shot by the police and will guarantee that the police won't disappear with this untrustworthy demonstration. Mr. Agyekum made these disclosures in a meeting with 3FM's Sunrise facilitated by Alfred Ocansey on Thursday.

The MP added that even the people who were shot with live slugs by the police and are at present getting medicines at the emergency clinic are under police gatekeeper to be captured.

"Around 8 or 9 individuals are in the emergency clinic now who were shot by the police with live slugs and they [Police] are trusting that the projectiles will be taken out from their bodies for them to be captured".

He further engaged the Media and all Ghanaians not to permit the case to cease to exist in about fourteen days yet to guarantee absolution to the case for a fair outcome to be given.

"I maintain that we as a whole should check out at the certainty of this case. I don't maintain that we should pass on it to God. We should test the regulations to check whether someone from the police can shoot someone and kill, what is the outcome?" Kwadwo Agyekum pursued.
