The Member of Parliament for Adansi-Asokwa, Hon. KT Hammond has sent a fresh message to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over the controversial E-levy. He revealed that there is no way the ruling New Patriotic Party will allow the NDC into cabinet meetings concerning the E-levy.
He revealed that the NDC is bent on making the governance difficult for the ruling NPP and so there is no way they will allow them into cabinet meetings.
" Why will the NDC even be calling the central government to admit them in cabinet meetings on E-levy conversations? The NDC cannot be admitted in cabinet meetings and that's just the fact. It's not because of the E-levy that will make the central government revive the constitution."
"He also mentioned that the NDC at first wanted the rate of the Levy to come down to 1.5% and the government agreed and then they later came back that the Levy should be thrown out completely. It tells you that they just want to frustrate the government's business." Hon. KT Hammond told Adom Tv News in an interview.
Do you agree that the NPP admitting the NDC in cabinet meetings may help them pass the controversial E-levy?
Do you also agree the NDC is frustrating the government just because they won't allow the government to pass the E-levy? If that's so should the NDC continue to frustrate the government so that E-levy will not be passed?
