Following the misunderstanding between Kenya and Somalia, the Africa Union appointed the former president of Ghana, HE John Dramani Mahama to settle the dispute between these two African countries.
Mohammed Abdirazak who is the Foreign and International Cooperation Minister for Somalia in a report to the AU's Chairperson, Moussa Faki Mohamat has rejected the appointment of HE John Dramani Mahama as an envoy to settle the political riot between them and Kenya.
According to the report, the former president of Ghana has a relationship with the Kenya government and therefore, he cannot settle the matter between them. He noted that Mahama cannot be trusted to deliver the acceptable results.
