The renowned Ghanaian broadcast journalist has recently done the unexpected after he boldly came out to finally defend the incumbent President, Akufo Addo over Ghana’s ranking in terms of press freedom worldwide.
Speaking on the most anticipated “Good Evening Ghana” show, Paul Adom Okyere took the opportunity to throw more light on why the world ranking of press freedom in Ghana has to be corrected as he boldly defended the Akufo Addo government again.
“We would like to go bank to the ‘reporters without boarders’ and the WAMF and tell them that, come back again on this analysis. They said that the Ghanaian media has gone down from 30 to 60 and Burkina Faso is better; we bet to differ. That is not possible; that is not correct. They must have another look at it. It may well be that some of the people who are doing the research have a personal interest in the outcomes. They want outcomes that show something in particular about President Akufo Addo. They want research that shows something about Akufo Addo because if you don’t want that, how do you say that Burkina Faso is better than Ghana”, Paul Adom Okyere emphatically revealed.
