JM Would Sack Her If He Was President - Kelvin Taylor Finally Opens Up On Adwoa Safo's Leave

Ghanaian based American investigative Journalist and founder of the Loud Silence Media, Kelvin Ekow Taylor has finally reacted to the absence of MP for Dome Kwabenya and Minister for Gender and Children Protection, Honourable Adwoa Safo. He has registered his disappointment over her absence from her ministry for the past weeks.

Kelvin Taylor's comments come after Mr. Eugene Arhin issued a statement to inform Ghanaians on the Minister's decision to embark on a leave. According to the statement, Adwoa Safo's leave has been extended until further notice for reasons yet unknown to the general public.

Kelvin Taylor speaking on his televised With All Due Respect Show last night has descended heavily on the government for granting leave to Adwoa Safo without enough information on her reasons for making that decision. He indicated that Minister Adwoa Safo has proven that she doesn't care about her mandate at her ministry.

Kelvin Taylor reacting to the School Feeding Coordinator's allegations that she waited six hours without seeing Adwoa Safo, he alleged that the Minister (Adwoa Safo) has stopped working because Akuffo-Addo reinstated the school feeding Coordinator who was earlier sacked by her. He said, "She is angry because Akuffo-Addo did not listen to her when he was reinstating the school feeding Coordinator. She doesn't want to work with her anymore."

Speaking further, Kelvin Taylor asserted that the attitude of government appointees under Akuffo-Addo would not be condoned under Mahama's administration if he was president. He later revealed that Adwoa Safo is being paid by the government despite her absence from work.

He said, "We are tired about Akuffo-Addo's leadership in this country. How can you still pay someone who is home without a good reason? This cannot happen in any other country except Ghana. Mahama would not condone this behaviour from his appointees."

He added, "And yet we have intelligent people in Ghana who are rather calling on the government to change the constitution. What about what is happening now. She is being paid with the taxpayers money without working and you are there lamenting on unnecessary things."
