The managing editor for insight news paper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has stated that President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo should go and pay the nursing trainees allowances and be free after nurses and midwives has called on the government to pay them their allowances they're owing them.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr speaking on Pan African TV morning show today stated that the government should not delay much in paying the nursing trainees and midwives who are calling on them for help.
For some days now it has been trending in the country that nurses has been crying for their unpaid allowances for 8 months but the Ministry of Health has declined that statement and said it was false claims.
NPP communicator on the show, Mr Elvis however disclosed that it true the nursing trainees allowances has not been paid this year, and it has been one of the things he can say it had hit him very hard because he has been paying school fees for some of the students and they are always disturbing him daily over the unpaid allowances.
Elvis told the nursing trainees that they should give the government sometime for them to pay the allowances for he himself has not rest over it.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr speech today surprises everyone because he is known for going hard on NPP government and when he was asked about his opinion on the nursing trainees allowances brouhaha, he just stated that President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo should go and pay the allowances and be free.
" I don't have much to say about this. He should go and pay the nursing trainees allowances and be free. That's all I can say kwame" he said to the host.
