U/W: Bone Specialist States Challenge She is Facing in Wa West

The bone specialist and traditional healer at the Balawa bone center in the Wa West district of the Upper West Region, Madam Tuodekuu, popularly known as Gyader, has disclosed that lack of electricity and enough rooms constitute two major challenges bedeviling the center.
Madam Tuodekuu, appeals to civil organizations, NGOs the government and any good-hearted human being to come to the aid of the center as it can serve as a tourist attraction site for visitors of the region.
Some patients at the Healing center shared their experiences over the situation and the treatment they received at the facility.
One by name, Rebecca suggested the traditional or local method is great to uphold but as to the myths surrounding it, people need more education to have more confidence in the local system.
Balawa is about 25 kilometers away from Wa Municipality and close to Siiru. Its residents are mostly farmers.
There is another bone specialist center in Jonga also in the Wa Municipality.
